Workforce management is a critical component of every organization’s human capital management efforts, required to effectively manage hourly employees and project-based labor. Scheduling and tracking of work and time off should be seamlessly managed, but the systems in use also should be easy for workers to use across the organization. A new generation of these workforce management systems offers features previously available only in talent management applications but that should be applied to all workers, in particular those who are paid hourly.
